Description and use:
When spread on the soil, it has excellent mulching properties, meaning it prevents weed growth, the soil warms up earlier in spring, and the fabric can retain the accumulated heat in the soil for a longer time, allowing for earlier sowing. Thanks to the fabric's open structure, it lets air and water through and significantly reduces unwanted evaporation from the soil, resulting in significant water savings when watering and a positive effect on root system development.
Lay it on the bed a few days before sowing to allow the soil to warm up. Weigh down the edges or cover them with soil. At the chosen spacing, cut cross-shaped openings of 5 by 5 cm. Sow or plant into them.
