Thanks to its unique properties, it has wide use in horticulture, ornamental nurseries and agriculture for mulching. It is used to protect plants from frost, pests, and as a mulching fabric under bark or gravel.

Use of the fabric
You can lay the non-woven fabric on the bed in various ways. First prepare the bed on which you will lay the fabric. After digging or cultivating, use a rake to remove all surface debris and stones from the prepared area, then weed it thoroughly – make sure to remove the entire root system of the weeds. Then break up the soil in the bed and level it flat. You can now lay the fabric on the prepared bed.
- Unroll a sufficient amount of fabric for the length of the bed, and it's better to add an extra meter
- Place the fabric over the edges of the bed and secure it with pegs (for a firmer grip, it is a good idea to fold the edge of the fabric in half so it does not tear after being pierced)
- Where you will be planting, cut an x-shaped opening, plant the plant, and fold the flaps of the opening back towards the stem of the plant
- You can now spread bark or gravel on top of the fabric; for planted plants, leave a "watering bowl"
