Product detailed description

Nozzle for boiler Atmos DC70S, DC70GSX (800mm chamber) and DC80.

Original ceramic nozzle ATMOS DC0134:

  • outer dimensions: length 590 mm + cube!!!, 200 mm width
  • nozzle opening dimensions: 310 mm length, 35 mm width
  • for Atmos boilers: DC70S, DC80, DC70GSX (800mm chamber)
  • the package includes sealant and 3 sealing cords for sealing the gasification nozzle on the sides and at the front of the boiler

Warning!!!
In the Atmos DC70S, DC80 and DC70GSX (800mm chamber) boilers, an extension is also fitted next to the nozzle - a cube measuring 200 x 200mm. This cube is not included in the nozzle package, but must be ordered separately here: Cube DC0031 - nozzle extension.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I choose the right output for a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the building being heated. For wood/coal boilers, also keep in mind that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output on a single fill - which is why it's common practice to add a buffer (accumulation) tank to the boiler, storing surplus heat for later use instead of forcing the boiler to run inefficiently throttled down.
  • What else do I need to install this boiler? Besides the boiler itself, the system usually requires: a suitably sized buffer (accumulation) tank, a circulation pump (often already fitted with a Laddomat or a thermoregulatory valve to protect the boiler against low-temperature corrosion), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draught matching the boiler's output - exact chimney draught values can be found in the technical parameters above.
  • What fuel is suitable, and what isn't? Use only fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (typically split logs of a defined length and moisture content, or lignite briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or overly damp fuel reduces efficiency, increases tar and deposit build-up, and can damage the boiler.
  • What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, and regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), the chimney must by law be inspected/cleaned by an authorized chimney sweep - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim in the event of a fire could also be disputed.
  • How much maintenance does the boiler need? This typically includes regularly removing ash and cleaning the heat exchange surfaces/flue gas passages of soot (interval depending on usage intensity, usually a matter of weeks), plus a thorough annual inspection including seals and the chimney.
  • Can I install the boiler myself? The positioning and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney, and safety components should be carried out, or at least professionally inspected, by a heating technician - this is equipment involving open flame, high temperatures, and pressurized components, where an installation error can pose a safety risk.
