OZYboard Invisible Edging 35 T Profile
Code: OZ_001001DProduct detailed description
Why does the T-profile protect the OZY-board 35 edging from bending?
The plastic edging OZY-board 35 is a new member of the OZY modern garden edging series. Thanks to its special inverted T shape, it has high strength and lateral stability. The well-thought-out profile resists pressure from materials, whether gravel or aggregate is adjacent on one side and thick lawn on the other. The construction effectively prevents unwanted bending of the lines.
The reduced height of 35 mm makes this type suitable for places where deep layer separation is not needed (for example, a transition between gravel flowerbeds), or where the subsoil does not allow for deeper installation. Like other edgings in the range, this model fully replaces concrete edging. This eliminates heavy handling, transport and installation. In addition, plastic does not draw moisture from the soil, protecting the lawn from yellowing and drying out.
Integrated connecting lock designed for maximum durability
The sturdy connecting system joins individual one-meter pieces into a continuous strip. The massive lock is designed to hold firmly while shaping the lines and to maintain strength throughout its lifetime. The edging easily withstands the natural tension of the soil as well as winter frosts. No adjustment of the lock is necessary during installation.
INSTALLATION NOTICE:
NEVER MODIFY, CUT OR SAND THE CONNECTING LOCK IF IT DOES NOT FIT EASILY. JUST USE A RUBBER MALLET AND HIT IT RIGHT ;-). The pieces will fit firmly together and form a monolithic joint without risk of damaging the plastic.
Trouble-free bending and smooth shaping of curves
The plastic strip OZY-board 35 allows you to create clean design curves, waves or circles around trees. In its basic state, the edging is straight and rigid. If you need a curve, simply use garden scissors or pliers to cut through the reinforcing ribs on the underside. After this step, the profile gains flexibility while retaining its height of 35 mm.

How to properly anchor a plastic edging into soil and gravel or concrete?
The wide base of the T-profile allows installation on concrete surfaces using screws through the pre-drilled base. For standard anchoring into soil, fixing elements are purchased separately, so you can choose the exact number according to the layout of your flowerbeds. For marking lines and curves, the following recommendations apply:
- For straight sections use 3 plastic pins 19cm for OZY-board 35 per meter.
- For curved sections and arcs, apply 4 to 6 pins per meter due to the natural tension of the material.
- For anchoring into extremely hard, rocky or clayey subsoil, we recommend using massive steel pins with a length of 180 mm .

Frequently Asked Questions about OZY-board 35 T (FAQ)
For what purposes is the 35 mm edging height most suitable?
The 35 mm height model is suitable where deep layer separation is not needed (for example, visually separating two types of gravel or stones), or in places where a shallow subsoil does not allow for deeper embedding into the ground.
What is the optimal consumption of fixing pins per meter?
When laying the edging in a straight line, you will use 3 plastic pins per meter. However, if you bend the strip into curves, the material tension requires stronger anchoring – it is recommended to use 4 to 6 pins per meter.
Can the invisible edging OZY-board 35 be installed directly on a concrete surface?
Yes, this is one of the main advantages of the T-profile. Thanks to the full bottom base, it can be screwed directly onto hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt) using screws and anchors. We recommend pre-drilling the edging base before installation.
Why does a plastic edging protect the lawn better than concrete?
Concrete edging is heavy to carry and install, and during hot weather significantly draws moisture from the soil. This causes yellowing and drying of the lawn along the concrete line. The polypropylene OZY-board edging does not absorb water, keeps the soil moist, and is also easy to shape.
