Why does the T-profile prevent the edging from bending?
The OZY-board 55 plastic invisible edging with an inverted T-shaped profile ensures high lateral rigidity. This geometric shape evenly distributes the pressure of decorative stone, gravel or soil on one side and lawn on the other. Unlike concrete edging with a thickness of over 50 mm, this 4.5 mm thin polypropylene profile does not draw moisture from the soil, thus preventing the yellowing of lawn edges.
How does the integrated connecting lock work?
The massive connecting lock securely joins the individual one-meter sections into a whole that withstands stress from frost and earthworks. The joint holds firmly without play throughout the lifetime of the material. Do not mechanically modify or cut the lock during installation. To safely snap the two parts together, use a rubber mallet, which ensures the locks fit precisely without the risk of the plastic cracking.

NEVER MODIFY, CUT OR SAND THE CONNECTING LOCK IF IT DOES NOT FIT EASILY. IT IS ENOUGH TO USE A RUBBER MALLET AND HIT IT CORRECTLY ;-). The pieces will fit firmly together and create a monolithic joint without risk of damaging the plastic.
How to shape the OZY-board 55 edging into curves?
The edging allows smooth shaping into any radius. In its original state, the strip is straight and rigid. If you want to create curves, waves or circles around trees, simply cut the reinforcing plastic ribs on the base of the edging using garden scissors or pliers. After this step, the profile becomes flexible while maintaining a constant height of 55 mm.

How to properly anchor plastic edging into soil, gravel or concrete?
The wide base of the T-profile allows direct installation on concrete surfaces by screwing screws through the pre-drilled base of the strip. For standard anchoring into soil, fixing elements are ordered separately. The following technical recommendations apply for laying out lines and curves:

With even placement, you will use 3 plastic pins per 1 meter. If you shape the edging into curves, use 4 to 6 pins per meter due to material tension.
Is it possible to install the OZY-board 55 edging directly onto concrete?
Yes. Thanks to the extended base of the T-profile, you can attach the edging directly to hard surfaces by screwing in screws with anchors. We recommend pre-drilling the edging bases before installation.
How do you bend the edging into clean circles and waves?
Cut or snip the reinforcing ribs on the underside of the strip with garden scissors. The edging immediately gains flexibility and allows you to shape any radius without losing height.
Why does plastic edging protect the lawn better than concrete?
Classic concrete edging draws moisture from the soil, which causes yellowing and drying of the grass along the edge. Polypropylene edging does not absorb water and keeps the soil naturally moist.
