The Philips R600 is an under-sink reverse osmosis system for households that want not only high-quality drinking water, but also cleaner water for the whole kitchen. In a slim, compact design, it offers 4-stage filtration down to 0.0001 microns, high daily output, and an upgraded faucet with two filtration modes.

Compared to the Philips R400 model, this is a more powerful version with higher flow rate and better water utilization, suitable for larger families and households with higher consumption.

How filtration works with the Philips R600

The heart of the system is the reverse osmosis membrane, which lets through only water molecules and captures even extremely small particles down to 0.0001 microns. Together with the 3-in-1 filter cartridge (mechanical filtration + activated carbon), it can:

• reduce chlorine content and improve the taste and smell of water,
• reduce heavy metals, pesticides, nitrates and other undesirable substances,
• reduce water hardness,
• reduce the amount of bacteria, viruses, microplastics and selected PFAS substances.

Activated carbon made from natural coconut shells ensures that the water is not only clean, but also pleasant to taste.

Two modes – drinking water and filtered water with minerals

The upgraded faucet offers two separate modes:

1. RO mode (purified water) – ideal for drinking, cooking, and preparing coffee and tea.
2. Sediment filtration mode – water passes through filtration without reverse osmosis, retaining more minerals while producing no waste water. Suitable for rinsing food, washing dishes, and everyday kitchen use.

This allows you to adapt the use of the system depending on what you currently need the water for.

The Philips R600 with mineralizer achieves a capacity of up to 2,270 l/day and a nominal flow rate of approximately 1.6 l/min. You can fill a glass of clean water in just a few seconds.

The pre-filter also reduces particles, chlorine, and up to 99% of lead before the water reaches the main kitchen faucet or appliances. This means:
