The plastic elbow with two 1/2" female threads is used for connecting irrigation systems and piping in filtration units of swimming pools, ornamental ponds, fish ponds and air conditioning equipment. This elbow is used precisely in places where a 90° bend is needed.
Hardened PVC fittings are suitable for low-pressure irrigation systems, while their installation indoors for pressurized drinking water piping is not recommended.
The threads of the plastic fitting must be sealed with teflon tape or thread .
