The plastic elbow equipped with two 3/4" male threads is used for irrigation systems as well as for piping in filtration equipment of swimming ponds, pools, ornamental ponds, fish ponds, fish farming tanks, air conditioning piping, etc. The elbow is used in places where a 90° bend is needed.
Hardened PVC fittings are used primarily for low-pressure irrigation systems; they are not recommended for indoor installation on pressurized drinking water pipes.
The threads of the plastic fitting need to be sealed with Teflon tape or thread .
