The plastic elbow, fitted with a 3/4" internal thread on one end and a 3/4" external thread on the other, is used for irrigation installations and for piping in filtration systems of swimming pools, ornamental ponds, fish tanks, as well as for air conditioning piping and similar applications. This fitting is used to create a 90° bend in places where such a directional transition is necessary.
Fittings made of hardened PVC are designed for low-pressure irrigation systems and are not suitable for indoor installation in pressurized drinking water pipelines.
The threads of the plastic fitting must be sealed with Teflon tape or thread .
