The T-piece made of plastic, equipped with two female threads of 1/2" diameter, is used in irrigation systems as well as in piping for filters in pools, swimming ponds, ornamental ponds, fish ponds, air conditioning units and similar applications. The fitting is used where it is necessary to branch or split the pipeline.
Rigid PVC moldings are used mainly in irrigation systems that are not exposed to high pressure, therefore it is not recommended to install them indoors for pressurized drinking water pipes.
The threads of the plastic fitting need to be sealed with teflon tape or thread .
