The plastic T-piece with two 1" female threads is used for irrigation systems and for piping in filtration systems of swimming ponds, pools, ornamental ponds, fish ponds, air conditioning distribution, etc. The elbow is used where it is necessary to branch or split the pipeline.
Hardened PVC fittings are mainly used in low-pressure irrigation systems; they are not suitable for indoor installation in pressurized drinking water pipelines.
The threads of the plastic fitting need to be sealed with Teflon tape or thread .
