Polyphosphate beads to prevent limescale buildup

Polyphosphate beads, as a filter medium, dissolve slowly in water while binding to calcium ions, thus preventing the formation of limescale. The use of polyphosphate is mainly known in filters for utility water, such as washing machine or shower filters. As it dissolves, polyphosphates are released into the water, which are not suitable for drinking. Polyphosphate beads can be an alternative to Siliphos beads. Outer diameter of the beads: 20~22 mm
