Refill for filter against limescale and for water softening. The crystals can also be used for drinking water, provided that an older model of the DOSAPROP filter or a filter with dosing (nozzle) of the dissolved solution into the main water stream is used. Polyphosphates withstand a temperature of max. 35°C; at higher temperatures above 75°C they lose effectiveness or precipitates may form. The service life of polyphosphate crystals under normal use is approx. 6 months. After this period, the refill must be replaced. If the polyphosphate crystals decrease to 50% before 6 months have passed, it is sufficient to simply top up the polyphosphates.
