Pressure reducing valve for water 1" with filter and pressure gauge, prevents impurities such as rust particles, sand grains and other contaminants from entering the drinking water pipes, while also maintaining a constant drinking water pressure in the system downstream of it. The package also includes a wrench for the filter nut and a drain valve. The pressure reducing valve for water 1" with filter and pressure gauge protects drinking water pipes from high pressure by reducing the outlet pressure from the valve to a selected level. The outlet pressure is adjustable and does not change with changes in the inlet pressure. The outlet pressure can be set by turning the green control knob. For drinking water systems in households as well as commercial buildings, it is recommended to set the outlet pressure to 4 bar. After each new setting of the required outlet pressure, the regulated pipeline downstream of the valve should be opened and closed. The filter should be flushed at least once every 6 months, or more often if needed. There is a drain valve on the bottom of the plastic bowl, which should be briefly fully opened and closed 2 to 3 times to allow the settled impurities to flow out of the filter mesh from the system. If necessary, a hose connector can be fitted to the external thread of the drain valve to divert the water with impurities elsewhere via a hose. During filter cleaning, as well as during the backwash cycle, there is no restriction on the supply of drinking water. If necessary, the filter mesh can be replaced with a new one. A wrench for loosening the plastic bowl is included with the filter/pressure reducing valve. Maintenance of the filter may only be carried out by professionally qualified personnel in accordance with DIN 1988, while the relevant standards and regulations must be observed.
