Quartz Sleeve Viqua QS-810 for Viqua S810RL UV Lamp
The quartz sleeve is located in the center of the UV lamp housing, in the so-called reactor. It prevents direct contact between the water and the surface of the UV lamp as it passes through it. As water flows around the quartz sleeve, UV rays eliminate bacteria through its wall. Therefore, it is important to ensure that no coating builds up on the sleeve's surface. We recommend cleaning its surface or checking its perfect transparency at least when replacing the UV lamp's bulb.
