Radiator fitting, straight EK x 1/2"
Code: 330009Product detailed description
Radiator fitting, EK, lockable
- design: straight
- size: EK x 1/2"
This fitting is used to connect a radiator to the pipe. You can connect various types of pipe to the fitting. In the HEPWORTH system you need to connect 15mm polybutylene pipe designated HXX25/15, or HXX50/15.You can also connect "plastic-aluminium", PexAlPex 16mm pipe pexalpex 162 pipe
If connecting HEPWORTH, use 15mm PB pipe, pipe for heating. You connect this pipe using RCS15 compression fitting. You then use the same compression fitting to connect to manifolds for radiator heating. If you want to connect 16mm HEPWORTH system polybutylene, use UHP200/16 pipe and compression fitting 500684H. You use the same compression fitting to connect 16mm plastic-aluminium pipe. To connect 20x2mm pipes use RCS20 compr. fitting
Note: 16 x 2mm pipe with oxygen barrier UHP200/16 is used only for underfloor heating. The connection options here are for information only. For radiator heating medium distribution, use 15mm connecting pipe with oxygen barrier type HXX25/15 or HXX50/15.

![]() | Fully demountable system.
| This means you can assemble the system, later disassemble it, and reassemble it again. This is useful when you are not entirely sure about the heating installation. | |||
![]() | Installation without any tools.
One of the system's biggest advantages is tool-free installation. This means the pipe is simply pushed into the fitting and the internal jaw system fixes it in place. When disassembling, you simply unscrew the fitting, slide the jaws off the pipe, then reassemble the fitting, screw it back together and it is ready for use again.
![]() | Universal use for all types of heating.
| All fittings, tees, elbows and pipes are made of polybutylene, which means you can use it for installing radiator heating, underfloor heating, or domestic hot water (DHW) distribution. All diameters are backward compatible. | |||
![]() | Pipe made of polybutylene.
| Polybutylene - the oldest and so far best-proven material for heating and water distribution. | |||
![]() | Pipes with oxygen barrier
| All pipes are manufactured with an EVOH oxygen barrier, which prevents oxygen molecules from penetrating into the heating system. After a few years, oxygen causes corrosion of the boiler and degradation of the heating system. The oxygen barrier prevents this problem. | |||
![]() | Polybutylene is one of the most hygienic materials
| From a hygiene standpoint, polybutylene achieves the best results. |
