Rain Bird RD 1804-S-P45-F sprinkler with a 10 cm pop-up, ideal for irrigating small and medium-sized lawns, flower beds and shrubs. Its construction can handle even demanding conditions, including the use of chemically treated recycled water.

It works with all nozzles of the MPR, U, VAN, RN, R-VAN and SQ series, including those for shrubs. The built-in ‘Seal-A-Matic‘ (SAM) check valve holds back a water column with an elevation of up to 4.2 m. The pre-set PRS pressure regulator sets the value to 3.1 bar.

The Flow-Shield™ (F) function signals nozzle damage by reducing the flow rate by 90%.

The Ratcheting function simplifies adjusting the spray direction. The top part with the nozzle automatically pops up under water pressure; the return is ensured by a stainless steel spring. Nozzles are ordered separately as needed.

Excellent sealing without excessive bypass is ensured by a molded multi-purpose wiper seal, which allows the installation of multiple sprinklers in a single section.

The debris storage space in the body catches dirt and prevents it from circulating in the housing during irrigation, reducing the risk of wear.

Choosing the right sprinkler

Sprinklers are divided into two basic groups: static and rotary .

Static sprinklers are mainly used on smaller lawn areas, or lower vegetation such as perennial beds or rockeries. The throw range, depending on the nozzle, is between 1 and 5.5 m.

Rotary sprinklers are used for larger areas thanks to their greater throw range. Depending on the type and model, the throw range is between 6 and 16 meters.
