The Rain Bird R-VAN 14 rotary nozzle ensures high-quality water distribution with a throw radius of 2.4 to 4.6 meters and an adjustable arc angle between 45° and 270°. The precipitation rate of the R-VAN series nozzles by Rain Bird is optimized for 5000 Plus MPR rotary sprinklers, providing invaluable flexibility when designing irrigation systems. The low precipitation rate minimizes the risk of surface runoff and erosion. The throw distance can be precisely adjusted to match the shape of the lawn thanks to a stainless steel radius reduction screw that allows for throw control. The operating pressure ranges from 2.1 to 3.8 bar.

Thanks to a sixty percent lower water consumption compared to conventional spray sprinklers, R-VAN type nozzles can also be used to address challenges such as excessive spacing, insufficient pressure, or limited water source capacity in irrigation systems. Adjusting the throw length and arc requires no tools - simply turn the nozzle by hand to set it. For easy maintenance without debris buildup, the new Pull Up feature allows you to simply pull the nozzle upward during irrigation, causing water to instantly flush through the entire sprinkler.

When planning sprinkler placement, it is necessary to follow the rule of mutual overlap between neighboring devices. This means that the distance between individual sprinklers should correspond to their throw radius. Based on this principle, it is possible to determine which nozzle type is suitable for a specific sprinkler.
