The Rain Bird R-VAN-18 360 rotary stream nozzle ensures high-quality water distribution at a throw radius of 4.0 to 5.6 m in a 360° circular arc. The precipitation rate of the Rain Bird R-VAN series nozzles is optimally matched to the 5000 Plus MPR series rotors, guaranteeing unrivalled flexibility when designing an irrigation system. The limited precipitation rate minimizes surface runoff and erosion. An adjustable stainless steel radius reduction screw allows precise adjustment of the throw radius for better adaptation to the shape of the lawn. The operating pressure ranges from 1.4 to 3.8 bar.

Thanks to 60% lower water consumption compared to spray nozzles, R-VAN type nozzles can also be used in cases of problematically low pressure, wide spacing, and limited water capacity. Adjusting the throw length and arc requires no tools - simply turn the nozzle by hand. For easy maintenance without accumulated debris, the new Pull Up feature allows you to simply pull up the nozzle during irrigation, and the water pressure will immediately flush it thoroughly.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT NOZZLE

When planning nozzle layout, it is necessary to follow the rule of mutual overlap between neighboring sprinklers. This means that the distance between individual sprinklers should be equal to their throw radius. Based on this, it is possible to determine which specific nozzle is suitable for a given sprinkler.
