The Rain Bird R-VAN 18 rotary nozzle guarantees excellent water distribution with a throw of 4.0 to 5.5 m and an adjustable arc ranging from 45° to 270°. The precipitation rate of the Rain Bird R-VAN series nozzles is optimized for the 5000 Plus MPR series rotor sprinklers, bringing unmatched flexibility in designing an irrigation system. The limited precipitation rate minimizes surface runoff and erosion. The stainless steel radius reduction screw for adjusting the throw allows for more precise adaptation of the throw to the shape of the lawn. The operating pressure ranges between 1.4 and 3.8 bar.

Thanks to using 60% less water compared to spray sprinklers, R-VAN type nozzles are also suitable for large spacing, low pressure, and weak water sources in irrigation systems. No tools are needed to adjust the throw length and arc, simply turn the nozzle by hand. The new Pull Up feature enables easy, sediment-free maintenance - during irrigation, simply pull the nozzle upward and the water pressure will instantly flush it out.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT NOZZLE

When planning the placement of nozzles, it is essential to respect the rule of mutual overlap between neighboring sprinklers. This means that the distance between sprinklers should correspond to the throw size of the nozzles. Based on this, it is possible to determine which specific nozzle is suitable for a given sprinkler.
