The Rain Bird R-VAN-15-LCS rotary nozzle, designed for the left corner of a strip with a fixed arc, ensures excellent water distribution for a rectangular section measuring 1.5 x 4.6 m. The precipitation rate of Rain Bird R-VAN nozzles is optimized for the 5000 Plus MPR series of rotors, guaranteeing previously unattainable flexibility in irrigation network design. The low precipitation rate minimizes surface runoff and erosion. The stainless steel radius reduction screw allows for more precise adjustment of the spray pattern to match the shape of the lawn. The operating pressure ranges from 2.1 to 3.8 bar.

Thanks to a 60% lower water consumption compared to spray sprinklers, R-VAN type nozzles can also be used to address challenges such as excessive spacing, low pressure, or an insufficiently capable water source in irrigation systems. No tools are required to adjust the throw distance and arc - simply turn the nozzle by hand. For easy maintenance without debris build-up, the new Pull Up feature allows the nozzle to be pulled upward during irrigation, and the water pressure immediately flushes it clean.

When planning nozzle placement, it is essential to follow the principle of mutual overlap between neighboring sprinklers. This means that the distance between sprinklers should correspond to their throw radius. Based on this rule, we can determine which nozzle is suitable for a given sprinkler.
