• How to choose the right output of a ladder radiator for the bathroom? As a rough guide, calculate approximately 100 W per m² of the bathroom's floor area with a standard room height and insulation; if the radiator is the only heat source in the room, choose a higher output within this range.
• What is the difference between a water, electric and combined (dual) radiator? A water radiator is connected to the house's heating system (boiler) and only works when the heating is running; an electric radiator has its own heating element and works independently of the heating (suitable e.g. outside the heating season); a combined (dual) radiator allows both methods - in winter it is heated by the boiler, in summer or outside the season it works independently on electricity.
• Do I also need a thermostat for the electric radiator? A thermostat is not always included with the heating element - if it is not, we recommend buying one separately, as it allows you to regulate the temperature and save electricity instead of constantly running at full output.
• Does the installation have to be carried out by a professional? Hanging the radiator on the wall can be done by a DIY enthusiast; however, we recommend having the connection to the water heating circuit (for water and combined models) carried out by a heating technician/plumber.
