It is used to house the water meter when connecting buildings to the water supply. The height of the water meter shaft is 1500 mm and the diameter of the shaft body is 1100mm. Installation of the water meter shaft: The shaft is sufficiently reinforced, so in cases where there is no groundwater and the shaft will not be driven over or located near a road, it is enough to place the water meter shaft on a concrete base and evenly backfill it with sand or sieved soil. Despite the fact that this shaft is watertight, in the event of groundwater, a drive-over installation, or if the shaft is located near a road, it is necessary to encase the shaft in concrete and ensure that groundwater does not penetrate to the shaft walls.
