This water meter shaft is made of polypropylene panels 6 and 6 mm thick, joined by welding. It is used for placing a water meter at the point where an object is connected to the water supply. The height of the water meter shaft is 1600mm and the diameter of the shaft body is 1000mm. Installing the water meter shaft: The shaft is sufficiently reinforced, so in cases where there is no groundwater and the shaft will not be driven over or located near a road, it is enough to place the water meter shaft on a concrete base and backfill it evenly with sand or sifted soil. Although this shaft is watertight, in the event of groundwater, a drive-over installation, or if the shaft is near a road, it is necessary to encase the shaft in concrete and ensure that groundwater does not penetrate to the shaft walls.
