Scent Barrier Against Wild Game and Martens DR.STÄHLER NEO-ARBIN, 500ml

Scent repellent against wild game and martens in liquid form for application (20ml/fabric) onto a carrier of the scent substance for delimiting and protecting an area. Simple and quick installation with immediate effect. The scent barrier repels wild boar and large game, but also small predators - especially martens, active ingredient Margosa extract.

Target organism

For repelling wild game - for example wild boar, as well as large game (deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer), but also small mustelid predators (especially martens).

Area of use

The product is suitable for delimiting a property and protecting assets from wild game. 

Preparation

When handling the scent barrier against wild game, use rubber or microtene gloves to avoid direct contact of the repellent substance with the skin. If the substance comes into contact with skin, thoroughly wash the affected area with water and soap and then rinse with clean water.

Also prepare the scent substance carriers that you will soak with the scent repellent. The most commonly used carriers in households are pieces of sponge measuring 5x5x5cm or as needed, but you can also use ordinary fabric or purchase carriers specifically designed to absorb scent repellents.

Scent carriers are placed on fence posts and/or on wooden battens => preparation according to your possibilities.

Application

Put on protective gloves as recommended above. Then soak a sponge or cloth (approximately 20ml/fabric) with Neo-Arbin and fasten it at a height of 0.5 to 1 metre onto fence posts or wooden battens stuck into the ground. You can fasten it directly onto the post or you can use aluminium or metal adapters into which the fabric carriers are fastened. For safe delimiting of the area, we recommend fastening the scent substance carriers at a distance of 3 to a maximum of 6 metres.

Effectiveness

The scent repellent against wild game has an immediate effect after application, which lasts for up to 3 weeks. The repellent can be used all year round, but we recommend alternating game repellent products so that the game does not get used to a particular repellent substance. Since Neo-Arbin also has an unpleasant smell for people, we recommend not using the product near windows and balconies, and informing neighbours before application. Do not apply the product on living plants and prevent it from freezing.
