Screwed elbow 3/4x16 with internal thread

Product detailed description
Screwed elbow 3/4x16 with internal thread - a screw connection that requires no pressing tool, for PEX-AL-PEX pipe (16x2 mm) for water or heating.
This 90° elbow is a great choice whenever you need a reliable joint for PEX-AL-PEX pipe without investing in expensive pressing tools - just a plain wrench and the joint is done in a couple of minutes.
What makes this fitting stand out
- No special tools needed - unlike pressing systems, you don't need expensive pressing jaws, just an open-end wrench.
- Dismountable joint - if needed (system modification, repair) the joint can be disassembled and reassembled again, which is not possible with pressed joints.
- Proven tightness - 2 sealing rubber rings (EPDM) and a brass clamping ring ensure a reliable seal even after repeated tightening.
- Universal use - suitable for underfloor heating, drinking water distribution, radiator piping.

Step-by-step installation
- Cut the PEX-AL-PEX pipe perpendicular to its axis and use a calibrator to shape the end into a perfectly round form (this also removes any burr left after cutting).
- Slide the union nut onto the pipe, followed by the clamping ring.
- Push the pipe fully into the fitting body.
- Tighten the union nut with an open-end wrench - do not overtighten, just tighten the joint to firm resistance.
- After filling the system, check the joint for any leaks and tighten slightly further if needed.

Frequently asked questions
- Can this fitting be reused? Yes, unlike pressed joints it can be disassembled and reassembled again, ideal even for minor repairs or system modifications.
- Do I need special tools? No, a standard wrench (open-end wrench) is enough.
- Is it suitable for gas as well? No - for gas distribution always use only components certified for that purpose.
