It uses filter cartridges marked SX. Household use: filtration and treatment of drinking water, protection of taps, boilers, washing machines and other installations. Technical use: pre-filtration, micro-filtration, protection of pumps and heating systems, demineralisation and dechlorination, protection of reverse osmosis units. The cartridge is suitable for capturing mechanical impurities. A filter with an RL cartridge is used: on the inlet pipe into the building upstream of an individual appliance as protection for filter cartridges with finer filtration A rinsable, i.e. reusable, cartridge for capturing mechanical impurities larger than 50mcr is used as the first, basic protection for the water system and all connected appliances. In the case of heavier contamination or higher demands on cleaning quality, we recommend installing an ATLAS DUO filter with a second mechanical cartridge (50, 25, 5 or 1 mcr). The service life of the filter cartridge is 24 months; it needs to be rinsed every three months. As water flows through, it accelerates the oxidation of iron. Efficiency is highest at the final point of water consumption with a slow flow rate. The resin can be regenerated by a strong backwash in the regeneration tank. The resin is resistant to chlorine.
