It removes pesticides, insecticides and chlorine solvents. Household use: thorough dechlorination of water. Suitable not only for drinking and cooking, but also for showering and bathing. Technical use: dechlorination in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, pre-treatment of reverse osmosis units. Note: Before first using a filter with this cartridge, we recommend rinsing the "LA" filter cartridge with approx. 3 to 5 litres of water and letting this water drain away. During this rinsing, small particles of activated carbon that were created by the filling breaking up during transport may be flushed out. This is a one-off occurrence and will not happen again in the future. The cartridge will continue to reliably perform its function.
