Single-module water softener HydroSoft ECONOMY for professional use
The industrial single-module water softener HydroSoft ECONOMY with a flow capacity of 1.8 m³/h is suitable for locations where water consumption is not continuous. This means, for example, that there is no water consumption during the night, and after the capacity is exhausted, the device can automatically start regeneration of the cation exchange softening resin. This is especially important because during regeneration the control head does not allow any water to pass into the system.
The automatic control head type HYS-1 ensures the entire regeneration process fully automatically – without the need for intervention or supervision by a maintenance technician.
The regeneration time can be set to any hour when there is no water consumption (usually set to nighttime hours).
The volume of treated water is monitored by a small water meter impeller located at the outlet of the control head. The only thing that needs to be checked regularly is the amount of salt in the brine tank, to always ensure a sufficient volume for trouble-free automatic regeneration.
The size of the device should be selected based on the required capacity so that regeneration does not occur more often than every 6 hours – this is the time needed for the salt to fully dissolve. It is optimal if regeneration takes place 1–2 times a week, or once a day in case of higher water consumption.

The HydroSoft® water softener has been tested and evaluated in an accredited laboratory, and based on documented results of leaching test analyses and valid legislation, it clearly meets the requirements for products intended for contact with drinking water in accordance with regulations on hygienic requirements for products coming into contact with drinking water and water treatment.

- We recommend installing a mechanical pre-filter before the water softener, which will prevent the entry of floating impurities (sand, rust, clay, etc.) that could damage the mechanical parts of the softening device.
- To select the correct size, you need to know the water hardness value, peak hourly and average monthly water consumption, and last but not least, also take into account other values such as iron, manganese, ammonia and organic water contamination. For this, it is necessary to have, or if you don't, to carry out a water analysis.
