Single-module water softener HydroSoft ECONOMY for professional and industrial use

The industrial single-module water softener HydroSoft ECONOMY with a flow capacity of 3.2 m³/h is suitable for locations where water consumption is not continuous. This means, for example, that there is no water consumption during the night, and after the capacity is depleted, the unit can automatically start regeneration of the cation-exchange softening resin. This is important especially because during regeneration the control valve does not let any water through into the system.

The automatic control valve of type HYS-1 ensures the entire regeneration process fully automatically – without the need for intervention or supervision by a maintenance technician.

The regeneration time can be set to any hour when there is no water consumption (usually set to night hours).

The volume of treated water is monitored by a small water meter turbine located at the outlet of the control valve. The only thing that needs to be checked regularly is the amount of salt in the brine tank, to always ensure a sufficient volume for trouble-free automatic regeneration.

The size of the unit should be chosen based on the required capacity so that regeneration does not occur more often than every 6 hours – that is the time needed for the salt to fully dissolve. It is optimal if regeneration takes place 1–2 times a week or once a day with higher water consumption.
