Professional programmable 48V/500VA inverter with toroidal transformer, ECO mode and VE.Direct interface.
The inverter features a robust toroidal transformer, which has proven its reliability in Victron Energy inverters for many years.
The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether caused by overload or
high ambient temperature.
This inverter is fully configurable – a truly unique feature that lets you use a PC to set the following parameters:
• low and high battery voltage alarm and reset level
• inverter shut-down level at low and high battery voltage and reset level
• Output voltage 220/230/240V
• Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
• ECO mode on/off sensitivity setting (setting the level at which the inverter "goes to sleep" and "wakes up" again)
Monitoring is also available:
• input and output voltage and current, temperature, alarms
High starting power
Needed to start loads such as power inverters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.
ECO mode
In ECO mode - when the load power consumption drops below a preset value, the inverter switches to standby mode (it goes to sleep and its own power consumption is then only about 1W). In standby mode with very low own consumption, the inverter will then periodically switch on for a short time (adjustable parameter, standard: every 2.5 seconds). If the load power consumption exceeds the preset value, the inverter switches on again. Thanks to this function you will save a large amount of energy that the inverter would otherwise consume for its own operation.
VE.Direct communication port, which can be connected to:
• Computer (requires VE.Direct to USB cable)
• Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices (requires VE.Direct Bluetooth dongle)
