The garden ball valve with an external thread is used in potable and utility water distribution systems as a terminal fitting for the garden with a connection for a 3/4" garden hose. The device consists of a body and a control lever, with a shut-off ball inside the body directly connected to the lever. By simply turning the lever by 90°, the water flow can be gradually reduced until fully closed, or increased when opening. The valve features protection against damage to the internal mechanism of the tap.
