Product detailed description

for boilers DC18S(except 2010-2018), DC18SP(L)(from 2018), C15S, C18S, C20S, AC25S, AC35S, DCxxRS, DC15GS, DC20GS, CxxSP(L), KC16S, KC25S, KC35S, GS15, GS20, DC18GSP(L), DC18GSE, DC22GSE, DC25GSE(manufactured until 15.4.2012), AC/KCxxSP(L)

Small ash pan ATMOS P0043 is used for removing ash from smaller Atmos boilers that have a refractory ceramic ball-shaped chamber in the lower chamber (in three-chamber boilers, in the middle chamber) (see image above).

Parameters:

  • length: 400 mm
  • weight: 1.6 kg

Note: The ash pan for Atmos boilers with a deeper chamber and a ball-shaped chamber in the lower chamber can be found here: large ash pan for boilers with a ball-shaped chamber.

For DC18S boilers manufactured from 2010 to 2018, or the DC18SP(L) boiler manufactured until 2018, which has a ceramic roof (not a ball-shaped chamber) in the middle chamber, the P0060 ash pan is intended.

For Atmos DC25GSE boilers manufactured from 15.4.2012 the P0044 ash pan is intended.

FAQ

  • How can I verify that "Small Ash Pan (400 mm) for Boilers with Ball-Shaped Chamber" fits my appliance exactly? The most reliable way is to compare the exact type/catalogue designation on your appliance's (boiler, storage tank, water heater) nameplate with the compatibility stated directly in this product's name (Atmos brand) and in its technical parameters above. If anything is unclear, send us the exact type designation of your appliance (including the serial number, if available) - we will gladly verify compatibility for you.
  • Why is it important to use an original/compatible part rather than a universal replacement? Parts such as seals, sensors, or safety components (safety valves, thermal fuses) are usually dimensioned precisely to the parameters of the specific appliance (pressure, temperature, sensor resistance) - the wrong part can cause reduced function, leaks, or, in the case of safety components, a genuine safety risk.
  • Does this part need to be installed by a professional? For simpler mechanical parts (e.g. seals, covers, small accessories with no connection to electricity, gas, or the pressurised section), a handy DIYer can usually manage the replacement after disconnecting the appliance from power and the system. However, for any intervention in the gas, electrical, or pressurised part of the appliance (e.g. sensors located directly in the combustion chamber, safety valves, electrical modules), we always recommend a service technician - especially since such an intervention could affect the validity of the warranty on the entire appliance.
  • How do I know this part is worn and needs replacing? Common signs include visible wear/cracking (for seals and rubber parts), water or flue-gas leaks at the part's location, an error message on the controller's display (for sensors and electronic modules), or noticeably reduced performance of the appliance (e.g. irregular burning in burner parts). If in doubt, the safest option is to have a service technician assess the condition during the regular annual inspection.
  • Is it worth keeping this part at home as a spare? For parts that are subject to normal wear (seals, fuses, small mechanical components) and whose failure would mean a heating or hot water outage, keeping a spare on hand is a sensible precaution - especially for an older appliance, for which it can be harder to source the part quickly.
