Solar Charge Controller PWM Victron Energy 20A LCD and USB 12V / 24V
Code: TI_04280060Product detailed description
Solar Charge Controller PWM Victron Energy 20A LCD and USB 12V / 24V
New PWM solar controller from Victron Energy with a full 5-year warranty!
Its design makes it suitable for small off-grid solar systems. For charging a 12V battery, the solar panel must have 36 cells, or for charging a 24V battery, the panel must have 72 cells, with a maximum current of up to 20A.
For a 12V battery, you can connect a panel with a maximum power of up to 240Wp in parallel connection.
For a 24V battery, you can connect a panel with a maximum power of up to 480Wp (two 175Wp panels connected in series, two parallel strings).
The advantage is very simple and easy installation and reliable operation.
Built-in clear LCD display
For monitoring the status and setting parameters.
Powering DC appliances
Excessive battery discharge can be prevented by connecting all DC loads to the controller's DC output (terminal on the right).
The DC output disconnects the load when the battery is discharged to a preset voltage. It automatically reconnects the load as soon as the battery is at least partially recharged.
Connection and disconnection voltages are adjustable.
Do not connect a voltage inverter to the DC output - connect it directly to the battery.
Programmable battery charging algorithm
Pre-programmed algorithms for lead-acid batteries AGM, GEL, flooded, or LiFePO4 (only batteries with internal BMS)
Two 5-volt USB outputs
The USB output can be easily used, e.g., for charging your mobile phone, etc.
Maximum current (both outputs combined): 2A
Simple installation
1. Connect the battery - plus and minus.
2. Connect the solar array - plus and minus.
3. Connect the load - plus and minus.
When uninstalling, follow the reverse order.
Failure to follow this order may damage the BlueSolar PWM charge controller!
1. Before the first installation, make sure the battery is charged.
2. The cable to the battery should be as short as possible to minimize losses.
3. The controller is suitable only for lead-acid and LiFePO4 batteries.
4. The charge controller is suitable only for regulating solar panels. Never
connect any other charging source to the solar controller.
Detailed technical information can be found in the attached technical data sheet and manual.
