The GETI GWH02D solar inverter is especially suitable for use in photovoltaic water heating systems within the NZÚ and NZÚ light subsidy programs (valid for CZ).

The GETI GWH02D 4000W MPPT inverter, developed for PV water heating, allows direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power resistive heating devices such as boilers, water heaters, heating mats or heating cables. The inverter is also equipped with an AC input, which allows it to be connected to the mains voltage and heat water even when solar radiation is insufficient for heating.
The inverter is also equipped with a 3m temperature sensor and independent temperature settings for water heating from PV and AC power. The GETI inverter is also compatible with most boilers on the market.
The GETI solar inverter is equipped with a circuit with switching relays, which connects its output either to the inverter circuit or directly to the AC grid, so that it only becomes a pass-through for the grid. The Geti inverter is thus only backed up by the grid (this is a so-called bypass). Since both energy sources are separated in this way, it is not possible for the inverter to cause unauthorized flows into the grid.
Warning: The GETI GWH inverter is suitable only for resistive loads with a bimetallic thermostat (not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats!)
The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the electrical grid or grounding! The inverter output must not be connected to a TN-C system.
The system is simple, requiring only the connection of the appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a max. output of 4000 W and an operating voltage of 160 ~ 350V DC, mains voltage of 230V AC, and connection to a resistive load, e.g. heating cable, electric boiler, electric radiator or underfloor heating, and protective elements.
The direct current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly into heating devices, is converted in the inverter into alternating current, which can be used to power heating devices.
The maximum system output is 4000 W. The inverter has a priority input from the photovoltaic panels, and if this voltage drops below 120V, water heating will be powered from the 230V AC mains voltage.
