What are the features of the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 7000?
Deep discharge battery wake-up function
This function is used to revive (reactivate) a fully discharged and unresponsive lithium battery. In some cases, the battery needs a short activation pulse to start charging normally - that's exactly what this feature provides.
You can set the duration of this pulse - from 6 to 300 seconds. The default setting is 6 seconds, which is usually sufficient for most situations.
You can increase the value if the device fails to wake up the battery within the default time.
The EQ (equalization) function is a process of balancing the voltage between cells in a battery to:
optimize battery performance - ensuring that each cell in the battery operates within the optimal voltage range.
extend battery life - preventing excessive wear on certain cells, which can lead to their faster wear and degradation.
This function applies to lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte.
How does the inverter work in off-grid mode?
In off-grid mode, the solar inverter operates independently of the user's power grid. Energy obtained from solar panels is stored in batteries and then transferred to the connected load.
When using the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS series inverter for operation in photovoltaic installations (cyclic battery charging), we recommend using batteries that are most suitable for this purpose, e.g. GEL VPRO SOLAR, DEEP CYCLE VPRO SOLAR or lithium LiFePO4 batteries.
In the power settings, remember to select the appropriate battery type and charging current corresponding to the capacity. Incorrect selection of battery charging parameters may result in damage to the battery and loss of battery warranty. Using maintenance-free AGM batteries (e.g. AGM series, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO) in photovoltaic installations (cyclic charging systems) may lead to faster loss of battery efficiency/capacity. Such batteries are designed and work best in buffer mode (backup voltage, UPS systems).
As with other types of batteries, incorrect selection of charging current may lead to damage and loss of battery warranty.
