Don't want to pay high fees for an electrical connection at the campsite, or do you need energy anytime and anywhere away from civilization? Simply use solar energy to charge the onboard battery in your caravan/motorhome.
We offer you an optimally designed 180 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on the solar panels and solar charge controller. This system operates with a 12V battery voltage. It is one of the best-selling and most commonly used solar systems in our range.
The solar system includes these components:
2x Victron Energy 90Wp/12V Solar Panel (dimensions 780x668x30mm)
1x MPPT Victron Energy SmartSolar 75/15 solar charge controller with monitoring and setup via Bluetooth
1x Set of 6mm2 cables incl. crimped MC4 connectors - length 15 m
This kit does not include a battery. If you don't have an onboard battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you with the right choice.

To mount the panels on the roof of the motorhome, we recommend using the time-tested 68cm mounting bracket set (not included in the kit price), which you can find in the same section as this kit. A waterproof cable gland for two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive are also available.
The Victron Energy SmartSolar 75/15 solar charge controller ensures completely maintenance-free operation of this system.
NOTICE:
The kit includes a 15m long 6mm2 cable, with MC4 connectors crimped on the ends of the cable for connecting to the solar panel. The installing electrician will fit the ends of the cables leading to the solar charge controller with ferrules and suitable DC protection. At the battery, the cable will be terminated with suitable lugs and appropriate DC protection depending on the battery type and installation conditions.
Do you need additional system components?
We will be happy to advise you on choosing a suitable battery type and a suitable 12DC/230AC voltage inverter. In our range you will also find products needed for charging from the alternator while driving.
How to choose the right solar system?
Multiply the power consumption of individual devices powered by the solar system in Watts by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total need in Wh (watt-hours) per day. If this number is lower than the values stated for the individual seasons, the system's output is sufficient; otherwise, a more powerful system must be chosen. If you are not sure which system to choose, contact us, we will be happy to advise you.
If any component of the solar system does not suit you due to its parameters, we will be happy to exchange it for another one or remove it completely with a corresponding price adjustment. For this adjustment, please contact us, or state this fact in the order note.
Together with the solar system, you will receive detailed instructions describing the individual components and a wiring diagram.
