Don't want to pay high fees for electricity connection at the campsite, or do you need power anytime and anywhere outside civilization? Simply use solar energy to charge the onboard battery in your caravan/motorhome.
We offer you an optimally designed 260 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on the solar panels and solar controller. This system operates with a battery voltage of 12V. It is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems in our range.
The solar system includes the following components:
2x Victron Energy Solar Panel 130Wp/12V (dimensions 1200x668x30mm)
1x Victron Energy SmartSolar 75/15 MPPT Solar Charge Controller
1x Set of 6mm2 cables incl. crimped MC4 connectors - length 15 m
This kit does not include a battery. If you do not have an onboard battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section.
How much energy can this 260Wp solar system produce on average under optimal sunlight in Slovakia?

For mounting the panels on the roof of a motorhome, we recommend using the time-tested 68cm mounting bracket set (not included in the price of the kit). A waterproof gland for two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive are also available.
The Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 solar controller takes care of the completely maintenance-free operation of this system.
NOTICE:
The kit includes a 6mm2 cable, 15m long, with MC4 connectors crimped at the ends of the cable used to connect to the solar panel. The installing electrician will fit the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with ferrules and suitable DC protection. At the battery, the cable will be terminated with suitable lugs and suitable DC protection depending on the type of battery and installation conditions.
How to choose the right solar system?
We multiply the consumption of individual devices powered by the solar system in Watts by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total requirement in Wh (watt-hours) per day. If this number is lower than the values stated for each season, the system's power output is sufficient; otherwise, a more powerful system must be chosen.
Along with the solar system, you will receive detailed instructions describing the individual components and a wiring diagram.
