Photovoltaic panel made of polycrystalline silicon. Duralumin frame 30mm, cover glass.
Polycrystalline cell:
A substrate is made from smaller silicon crystals, which is pressed into one unit.
The round ingot is then cut into so-called wafers, which are trimmed to the required size of the PV cell.
Naturally, this technology cannot achieve such material purity, so the transitions between crystals are visible.
