Solar PWM Controller Geti GSR010 with indication of charging, current draw and battery voltage. Designed for a system voltage of 12V or 24V with fixed operating parameters and a maximum charging and load current of 10A for panels up to 120W-12V or 240W-24V.
Brief description of PWM controllers: solar PWM controllers connect solar panels directly to the battery being charged, and once the set or given terminal voltage of the battery is reached, further regulation is handled by pulse limiting-interruption of the current. This happens at a frequency of units to tens of kHz and is indicated by an LED. The controllers are suitable for panels with a system voltage matching the battery voltage, otherwise losses occur, where part of the power is wasted due to an unsuitable V-A characteristic of the panel.
