The SUNKKO 737G is a spot welder for spot welding battery cells into battery packs using nickel strips. The unit offers spot welding using welding electrodes located in the body of the device. The pressure required to close the welder contacts can be adjusted using a rotary regulator on the top chassis of the unit within a range of 200g to 700g. Welding can also be performed using a foot pedal, which is included in the delivery. Thanks to this, the welding plate and the battery cell will not shift. Strips with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2mm can be welded. After placing the battery cell with the required strip against the welder tips and pressing upward against the set force, a microswitch is triggered and the welder creates two spot welds. Under the welding electrodes there is LED lighting that illuminates the welding spot, allowing work even in poor lighting conditions. The welder features adjustable welding current from 50A to 800A to achieve an optimal weld depending on the material being welded. In addition to the current, the number of pulses per weld can also be set – 1 or 2. The power input of the battery welder is 2 – 25A from a 230V mains supply.
