Use and target species

This medium-sized trap is designed for capturing martens, stray cats, rats, mice, weasels and polecats. It is commonly used in households, on farms, in hunting associations and by pest control services.

Bait placement

The bait is placed at the opposite end of the trap from the entrance. For convenient bait placement, the top door can be used. The treadle triggering mechanism allows the bait to be fixed into specially prepared holes – ideal for eggs, meat, fish or bread, for example. This system increases the likelihood of successful capture, as the trap is activated and the gate closes quickly when the animal attempts to get the bait.
