Product detailed description

UCP25KS Set for the ATMOS A 25 Burner

As an accessory for any DxxP pellet boiler manufactured after 1 March 2007, you can purchase an automatic ash removal system that moves ash from the boiler body into an additional external ash bin. This automatic ash-removal device requires no special operation and increases the comfort of pellet heating.

Ash removal is fully automatic, using a gear-driven screw conveyor that removes ash from the chamber under the burner at regular intervals of 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours, depending on the value set for the specific fuel. Automatic ash removal can also be switched on manually if needed, simply by switching the boiler’s switch off and on. The size of the ash bin is chosen after careful consideration based on the fuel’s ash content.
When the additional ash bin is completely full, the ash-removal device (auger) automatically shuts down and the ash-removal module starts emitting an audible signal. To resume operation, empty the external ash bin (take it out) and simply switch the boiler’s switch off and on for 5 to 10 seconds.

Frequently asked questions

  • How can I check that "UCP25KS Set for the A 25 Burner" fits my exact appliance? The most reliable way is to compare the exact type/catalogue designation on your appliance's (boiler, tank, water heater) rating plate with the compatibility stated directly in this product's name (Atmos brand) and in its technical parameters above. If in doubt, send us the exact type designation of your appliance (including the serial number, if available) - we will gladly verify compatibility for you.
  • Why is it important to use an original/compatible part rather than a universal replacement? Parts such as seals, sensors or safety components (safety valves, thermal fuses) are usually dimensioned exactly to the parameters of the specific appliance (pressure, temperature, sensor's electrical resistance) - an incorrect part can cause reduced function, leaks, or, in the case of safety components, a genuine safety risk.
  • Does this part have to be installed by a professional? For simpler, mechanical parts (e.g. seals, covers, small accessories not connected to electricity, gas or the pressurised part) a handy DIYer can usually manage the replacement after disconnecting the appliance from power and the system. However, for any intervention in the gas, electrical or pressurised part of the appliance (e.g. sensors directly in the combustion chamber, safety valves, electrical modules) we always recommend a service technician - especially since the intervention could affect the validity of the warranty on the whole appliance.
  • How do I know this part is worn and needs replacing? Common signs include visible wear/cracking (for seals and rubber parts), water or flue-gas leaks at the part, an error message on the controller's display (for sensors and electronic modules), or an obviously reduced function of the appliance (e.g. irregular combustion for burner parts). If in doubt, the safest option is to have the condition assessed by a service technician during the regular annual inspection.
  • Is it worth keeping this part at home as a spare/service part? For parts that are subject to regular wear (seals, fuses, small mechanical parts) and whose failure would mean a heating or hot-water outage, keeping a spare on hand is a sensible precaution - especially for an older appliance for which the part may be harder to source quickly.
