Underfloor Heating Manifold WIGELL, 6 circuits, brass + key air vent
Code: JEZ_WG01.0310705Product detailed description
The underfloor heating manifold is the main component for evenly distributing heat in underfloor heating systems. Manifold variants include different numbers of circuits, usually from 2 to 18, and are compatible with underfloor heating pipes with a diameter of 16–20 mm.
Wigell manifolds can be mounted directly on the wall or, using the supplied brackets, into a manifold cabinet. The mounting position is arbitrary. You can connect PeX-AL-PeX or Pe-rt pipes to this manifold using compression fittings.
Product parameters
- Permissible fluid temperatures: -10 °C to 120 °C
- Max. working pressure: 4 - 6 bar
- Max. test pressure: 10 bar
- Measuring range: 0-5 l/min
- Flow rate: 1.12 m3/h
- Inlet and outlet connection: 1"
- Flow meters: dual-regulating with locking option
Advantages of Wigell manifolds
- Each manifold undergoes a pressure test, which ensures its reliability and long service life.
- You can choose a manual or automatic air vent.
- The cabinet size is precisely matched to the given number of circuits and fits perfectly.
- Regulating valves can be chosen in two variants with a thermometer preparation, either angled or straight.
- The manifold is fitted with regulating valves, flow meters and air vents.
Video on the pressure test
This manifold assembly consists of
Heating water body:
- flow meters ending with a nipple and PEX 3/4 x 16 type coupling
- air vent and drain unit with a key-operated air vent (an automatic air vent can also be used)
Return water body:
- thermostatic valves M30 x 1.5 - option to install actuators
- nipples with fitted PEX 3/4 x 16 type couplings
- air vent and drain unit with a key-operated air vent
Flow meter:
It is used to set the heating water flow rate in l/min and thus to balance the pressure differences of the individual heating circuits. Depending on the direction you turn the lower part of the flow meter, you decrease or increase the heating water flow rate, or shut it off completely. The water level on the transparent part of the flow meter shows the water flow in l/min. Max. operating pressure is 1 MPa.
Thermostatic valve inserts with manual heads are used to shut off individual heating circuits. These manual heads cannot be used to regulate individual branches. The manual heads can be removed and replaced with electric actuators.
Air vent and drain unit:
Used to vent air from the heating system. The air vent valve of this unit is manual (key-operated), and it can be replaced with an automatic air vent valve.
What else to buy for the air vent?
Additional accessories are required for proper installation. Below you can select connecting components that are fully compatible with this manifold:
- Recessed and surface-mounted manifold cabinets
- Mixing sets (WILO pump + ESBE valve) - for variants without an already built-in pump
- Ball valves for connection without a circulation pump
- Compression fittings
When laying pipes, we also recommend purchasing:
- Underfloor heating pipes
- Underfloor heating foils
- Clips for fixing underfloor pipes
- Staplers and dispensers
- Expansion strips for the wall
Packaging and delivery method
We will deliver the product to you by standard parcel shipping and it will be packaged so that it is not damaged during transport. The actual packaging method depends on the number of pieces ordered and other order items. A standalone manifold will most often be packed in a cardboard box and stretch film.
