PE-Xb/AL/PE-Xb pipes are multilayer pipes used in heating systems, water distribution or air conditioning systems. These pipes combine several materials.

Material:

Inner layer: PE-Xb (cross-linked polyethylene)

• Cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xb) is resistant to high temperatures, pressure and chemical stress.

Middle layer: Aluminum (AL)

• The aluminum layer gives the pipe shape stability and also acts as an oxygen barrier, which is important to prevent corrosion of the metal parts of the system.
