Cintropur UV 4100 UV Water Disinfection Lamp (NW4100)
The Cintropur UV 4100 is a UV lamp for water disinfection that reliably eliminates bacteria and viruses using UV-C radiation. It is a new model directly from the Belgian manufacturer Cintropur – with a robust European construction, a high-quality UV lamp (Philips) and minimal maintenance: replace the lamp once a year and enjoy peace of mind.
Compared to the Cintropur UV 2100, the Cintropur UV 4100 offers higher output (40 W) and is also suitable for higher water consumption or where you want a greater flow reserve.

How does the Cintropur UV 4100 UV lamp and UV water disinfection work?
Water flows through the UV reactor around the UV-C lamp housed in a protective quartz tube. The interior is made of a polished stainless steel cylinder, which reflects the UV radiation to increase its effectiveness even further. UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm disrupts the DNA of microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing – effectively neutralizing them.
UV disinfection is an eco-friendly method: it does not add anything "extra" to the water and does not change its physico-chemical properties.

- At the standard recommended UV dose – 40 mJ/cm² – the recommended nominal flow rate is approximately 1.3 m³/h
- Maximum flow rate: approximately 2.1 m³/h (depending on the required UV dose and water quality)
In practice, it always holds true: the more turbid the water or the higher its iron/manganese content, the more UV effectiveness may decrease. That's why it's important to properly set up pre-filtration and flow rate.
