Vaillant eloMENT VER 250/5 is the most powerful model in the eloMENT VER range, with an output of 2.5 kW, designed for large living rooms, studios or rooms with higher heat loss up to approx. 25 m². Thanks to its output, it can also handle heating of spaces with higher heat loss, large glazed areas or higher ceilings.

This is a flat, universal wall-mounted convector designed for direct electric heating without the need for a water or gas distribution system - simply mount it on the wall using the supplied brackets and plug it into a standard electrical socket. It is therefore an ideal solution wherever it is not possible or advantageous to install classic hot-water heating, or as a supplementary heat source during the transitional season (spring/autumn), when it is not worth running the entire boiler for the sake of a single room.

Thanks to precise electronic control, the VER 250/5 convector maintains the set room temperature with minimal fluctuations, which, compared to older mechanical (bimetallic) thermostats, results in noticeably more economical operation and higher thermal comfort. The daily and weekly program allows you to set different temperatures for different parts of the day (e.g. lower temperature at night and during absence, higher in the morning and evening), further reducing electricity consumption without loss of comfort.

Installation and mounting

Installing the VER 250/5 convector is simple and does not require the intervention of a qualified electrician or any construction work - simply attach the supplied wall brackets to the wall (masonry, plasterboard with a suitable anchor) and hang the convector at the required height, usually according to the manufacturer's recommendation above floor level. The convector is then connected via a flexible cord to a standard 230 V electrical socket.

During installation, we recommend:

• Maintaining a safe distance from the bathtub, shower or other water source in accordance with applicable regulations for electrical installations in damp areas (despite the IP24 protection).
• Choosing a socket on a separate protective circuit if several electrical appliances are to be operated simultaneously in the room.
• Not covering the convector with furniture, curtains or other textiles that would obstruct the free flow of air around the unit.
• When installing in a bathroom, placing the control panel out of direct reach of water and in accordance with the zoning of electrical installations in damp areas.

The eloMENT VER 250/5 convector is a standalone heating unit - it does not require connection to a heating water distribution system or a gas connection, and operates independently of the building's central heat source. This makes it an ideal solution for:

• Transitional season - spring and autumn, when it would be wasteful to run the entire house heating system for the sake of a single cooler room.

Maintenance and care

The eloMENT VER 250/5 electric convector does not require any regular servicing in the sense of classic heating technology - it does not contain a burner, flue or mechanical wearing parts, with the exception of the control electronics. Recommended care includes:

• Occasionally wiping the surface of the unit with a slightly damp cloth (after disconnecting from the mains) and removing dust from the ventilation openings in the lower and upper part of the convector.
• Checking that the power cord and plug are not damaged, especially if the convector is installed in a damp environment.
• Not using aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive sponges on the surface of the unit.
• In the event of a fault in the electronics or control panel, contacting an authorized Vaillant service center, as attempting to intervene inside the unit yourself is neither appropriate nor safe.
