The UV lamp destroys 99.98% of bacteria and microorganisms in water. It provides natural protection against their growth without the need for chemicals or mineral removal.
The UV lamp has an intelligent power supply, which means the user does not need to keep track of the annual replacement interval.
The power supply has an integrated display showing the remaining days until the bulb replacement. Before the end of the annual period, the power supply will alert with a sound signal that a replacement is needed. Using the button on the power supply, the interval can be extended by a few days. After replacing the bulb with a new one, the power supply automatically resets and starts counting down the 365-day cycle again.
