WATER-PASS ELECTRONIC PUMP CONTROLLER The WATER-PASS controller is an electronic device used to control pump operation. The device controls the pump's operation by monitoring changes in the water pressure level in the pipe and the water flow through the pipe. Thanks to the user-adjustable activation pressure, the device fully replaces traditional pressure switches. The device also protects against dry running (pump operation without water). A built-in check valve prevents the system from returning water to the pump. The intelligent WATER-PASS controller is designed to control the pump by switching the device on and off. Switching on depends on a drop in water pressure in the water system below the switch-on pressure set on the controller, and on the creation of flow in the pipe on which the controller is installed. In practice, the device switches the pump on when a tap is opened or sprinklers are turned on, and switches off about 6 seconds after the tap is closed or the sprinklers are turned off. The device has a dry-run protection function (pump operation without water), i.e. when there is insufficient water in the system, the controller switches off the pump to prevent damage. The device can work directly connected to pumps whose motors do not consume more than 12 A during operation. For most single-phase motors up to 2.2 kW, the motors consume less than 12 A. The device is designed to work with clean water free of mechanical impurities. The maximum water temperature should be below 80 degrees C.
