WIGELL Floor Heating Manifold, 5 circuits, brass + manual air vent
Code: JEZ_WG01.0310704Product detailed description
The underfloor heating manifold is the main component for evenly distributing heat in underfloor heating systems. Manifold variants include different numbers of circuits, usually from 2 to 18, and are compatible with underfloor heating pipes with diameters of 16–20 mm.
Wigell manifolds can be mounted directly on the wall or, using the supplied brackets, into a manifold cabinet. The mounting position is arbitrary. You can connect PeX-AL-PeX or Pe-rt pipes to this manifold using compression fittings.
Product parameters
- Permissible liquid temperatures: - 10 °C to 120 °C
- Max. working pressure: 4 - 6 bar
- Max. test pressure: 10 bar
- Measuring range: 0-5 l/min
- Flow rate: 1.12 m3/h
- Inlet and outlet connection: 1"
- Flow meters: dual-control with locking option
Advantages of Wigell manifolds
- Every manifold undergoes a pressure test, ensuring its reliability and long service life.
- You can choose a manual or automatic air vent.
- The cabinet size is precisely matched to the given number of circuits and fits perfectly.
- Control valves can be chosen in two variants with thermometer preparation, either angled or straight.
- The manifold is fitted with control valves, flow meters and air vents.
Pressure test video
This manifold set consists of
Heating water body:
- flow meters ending with a nipple and PEX 3/4 x 16 type coupling
- air vent and drain unit with a manual key air vent (an automatic air vent can also be used)
Return water body:
- thermostatic valves M30 x 1.5 - option to fit thermal actuators
- nipples fitted with PEX 3/4 x 16 type couplings
- air vent and drain unit with a manual key air vent
Flow meter:
Used to set the heating water flow rate in l/min and thereby balance the pressure differences of the individual heating circuits. Depending on the direction you turn the lower part of the flow meter, you decrease or increase the heating water flow rate, or shut it off completely. On the transparent part of the flow meter, the water level shows the flow rate in l/min. Max. operating pressure is 1 MPa.
Thermostatic valve inserts with manual heads are used to shut off individual heating circuits. These manual heads do not allow individual branches to be regulated. The manual heads can be removed and replaced with electric actuators.
Air vent and drain unit:
Used for venting the heating system. The air vent valve of this unit is manual (key operated) and can be replaced with an automatic air vent valve.
What else should you buy for the air vent?
Additional accessories are required for correct installation. Below, select the connection components that are fully compatible with this manifold:
- Flush-mounted and surface-mounted cabinets
- Mixing sets (WILO pump + ESBE valve) - for variants without a built-in pump
- Ball valves for connection without a circulation pump
- Compression fittings
When laying the pipes, we also recommend purchasing:
- Underfloor heating pipes
- Underfloor heating foils
- Clips for fixing the floor pipes
- Staple guns and dispensers
- Expansion tape for the wall
Packaging and delivery method
We will deliver the product to you by standard parcel shipping and it will be packaged so that it is not damaged during transport. The packaging method itself depends on the number of pieces ordered and other items in the order. A single manifold will most often be packed in a cardboard box and stretch film.
